Kodak Gallery Photo Book Opportunity

Valentine’s day is coming up and I thought I would pass on an opportunity from Kodak Gallery to create a photo book for that special person in your life. A photo book is create way to pull together all the best pictures you have into a cohesive narrative. We created a Photo book for my mom last Christmas telling the story of the boys times with their grandma. Having that tangible, sturdy object to bring out and retell the story is importnat in this time where we take far more pictures but print very few. At least that is how it is at our house where all of our pictures are on the computer. We can see so much more but sitting there on the couch looking through boxes of pictures or album with sticky pages is a much more communal experience.

So if you would like a chance to get a $35 gift code to create your own book from Kodak Gallery all you have to do is leave a comment below. The comment could be anything you want it to be from “I want” to a story of a great time looking through pictures with your family. I will choose a comment at random on Saturday Feb 5 and let you know if you won. Be sure to check out Kodak Gallery to see the photo books and other ways you can turn your favorite pictures into keepsakes.

We’ve been taking a lot of pictures on our trip of beloved family and friends, but they are likely to just live in iPhoto indefinitely. Unless I am granted the secret code for a Kodak photo book 🙂

My favorite times have always been with my sister. When we were young we would actually make popcorn and look at pictures. Now it is more bittersweet as we remember our loved ones and I realize how greatful I am to have my sister to remember with. We laugh sometimes until we cry! There are soooo many pictures of my pouty face. I really had some issues with authority. Okay, maybe I still do. I can hardly wait to sit with our grandchildren and laugh anew as we relive our childhood and they discover their grandmas were actually children once.
