Potty Dance Dance Revoluiton

This past weekend we gathered the neighborhood kids to celebrate Segundo’s new found freedom from diapers. He is fully potty trained, no longer even wearing Pull-ups, which we called night time chonnies to show he no longer needed diapers. It is funny how quickly he has gone from a diapered kid still using his plug to sleep to fully potty trained and plug free. In the blink of an eye he is a kid and not a toddler and I feel like that Five For Fighting song is playing as I think about this too much. Anyway a chance came up, through an email from Huggies, to celebrate his accomplishments and take part in a live concert from the great Kids music outfit Ralph’s World. So the Potty Dance party was born.

We got together Saturday with lots of great food, including wings from Fire on the Mountain, excited kids, and lots of swag from Pull-ups to help us get into it. We tuned into the concert on the Potty Dance website and danced along with the folks at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, a place I had been to before but never with kids. Most of the kids got their boggy on but a couple respectfully declined and played cars instead. After the dancing we played around outside and collected worms in jars to gross out the parents. It was a fun day full of more Kindergarten talk, silly parents and grand parent dancing, and fun outdoor games. You can see a little more in the video below:

There are more live concerts that can tune in and see in the next couple of weeks:

Potty Dance Party – Minneapolis Today

Potty Dance Party – Atlanta Tuesday March 15

Potty Dance Party – San Diego Wednesday March 23

If you get a chance to tune in do so, it is a great concert by Ralph’s World that the kids are sure to groove to and if anyone would like a Potty Training DVD let me know in the comments and I will get one sent out to you.

*Pull-UpsĀ® training pants provided product and potty training incentives for myself and my Potty Dance Day Party guests. Additionally, the brand supplied me with a Flip cam to document my experience, covered my incidentals from the party and provided me with a reader giveaway. However, my opinions on the product and Potty Dance Day experience are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive sentiments towards Pull-UpsĀ® or their products.
