Nomad Brush Giveaway

The boys and I have been experimenting with all sorts of creative mediums like water colors, oil pastels, markers, crayons, and clay. We’ve also made a picture or two from Apps on my phone and the boys love seeing color come right from their finger tips. While they love the finished products, the process is a bit clunky with their little chubby fingers. Don Lee ran into the same issue and did something about it by creating the Nomad Brush, a stylus for drawing, sketching, and painting on iPads and other smart phones and tablets. The Nomad Brush combined with the great artistic apps being created open up a whole new creative space for kids to explore. You can check out some of the pictures people have created on their Facebook page and see first hand how brush works:

With the holidays upon us the Nomad Stylus is a great eco-friendly tool to encourage creativity in both kids and adults and with that in mind we are giving away a stylus to one lucky winner. I will pick a comment at random on Wednesday December 14 at Noon Pacific. So leave a comment telling me how you would use the Nomad Brush. You can also increase your odds by Tweeting out a link to this post and leaving a comment with the link to your tweet, and heading over to the Facebook page and liking the Nomad Stylus. Get your comments in and spread the word.

I have lots of kids and young adults in my life. I volunteer in a K class, am an education surrogate for a young lady with learning challenges and a job/life coach for a young man with Down Syndrome. I am setting up an iPad to use with individuals who vary in age and ability. I think this would be an awesome tool to have.

Love this tool! I’ve seen pre-schoolers drawn in (pun not very intended…) and engaged by the possibilities.

Wow this looks amazing!! My son would love this and it’s mess free. I would love it too 🙂

This would be a great tool for my son. I love paint and all and this wouldn’t take the place of it, but it’s a great no mess way for him to continue to be creative. It would be great for long road trips and “quiet times”!
